Salty Mutts was born from sandy paws, slobbery grins, and a whole lot of heart. Growing up at the Beach, founder Melissa spent her days alongside dogs who ruled the shoreline. Her shy rescue, Makai, found his joy among these salty beach pups, showing that even the quietest dogs can come alive with the right crew.

 

The heartbeat of the brand came later when Melissa’s father, a veteran, adopted Logan—a rescue pup who became his PTSD service dog. Their bond became a symbol of healing and hope, showing the power pets have to change lives. 

 

Today, Salty Mutts is led by Copper, Melissa’s hilarious Mini-Australian Shepherd and full-time chaos coordinator. Whether diving into sand or demanding belly rubs with flair, Copper embodies the playful, lovable spirit of the brand.Salty Mutts isn’t just a shop—it’s a vibe.
